Ayurvedic focus: Reduce Vata. Favor foods that are warm, moist, oily, and grounding.
Eat more:
Root vegetables (sweet potatoes, carrots, beets)
Cooked grains (oats, rice, wheat)
Soups, stews, and warm porridges
Nuts, seeds, healthy oils (sesame, ghee, olive oil)
Warming spices: cumin, turmeric, clove, nutmeg, Hing asafetida, black pepper
Avoid:
Raw, cold, dry foods
